The specialist journal for edition philology, Magazin für digitale Editionswissenschaften, provides an open forum for best practices in online publishing. It addresses the technical aspects of online publishing with examples from actual projects focusing on subject-specific requirements, standards and methods of editing, digital tools, and presentation. The journal (ISSN 2364-0855) is published irregulary, usually once a year once annually by the Interdisziplinären Zentrum für Editionswissenschaften (IZED). It is available in digital form free of charge. In print form, a copy of the journal costs €7.00. FAU University Press organises the printing and aspects of the design, but the journal has its own submission and review guidelines.
